My Characters

I'm actually not much of an original characters kinda person, and especially not original characters meant to be inserted into existing media. It's just not my scene. I get most of my hashtag media enjoyment out of analyzing what's already there and extrapolating from it, rather than creating my own continuation of it, and even if I do indulge in a little character creation I rarely think about them all that much afterwards.

FFXIV hits different though. I firmly believe FFXIV's continued success is because they put chemicals in the water that somehow make even people who never engaged with original character creation before obsessed with their little digital dressup dolls.
